For every song that's written like that first one, there's 100 that are almost exactly the same. Picking style, distortion type, vocals, even the drums seem artificial. I guess this is "metal" these days, but it's not real metal...

AS is alright, but they've yet to impress me.

But hey, if you like it, that's all that matters :)
