its been like a month since .54 has came out. I think 1 update every two weeks would be great, and defiantly some insight a couple days before to let us know whats goin to happen.

Both.
Something like what twisted said, small and then large. Basically kind of like just works on small, but at the same time, each little small works with a large, and it will all add up. Think how Notch adds items that aren't used currently in the game but will eventually.

I prefer smaller updates - or at least regular drips of information of what development has been ongoing for the next release (kind of like what Toady One does at Bay12). Both of the above would be very nice indeed.

It makes the userbase feel the game is progressing, rather than going a weeks without a word from Mr. Aksoy.

Smaller updates, like i suggested in my megathread....iots keeps us all excited and allows him to put more fort into one or two things at a time.

Exactly what it says on the tin- do you generally prefer smaller, more frequent updates to the game, or do you prefer to wait longer for bigger updates?

For me I'll probably prefer longer waits for bigger updates until a self-installer is added, but for widely criticised aspects, such as the infamous rifle/smg cones, I think a quick fix is vital to keep the playerbase numbers consistent. Just let it ride for a few days to make absolutely sure that the claims of something making gameplay worse are sound, and then change it ASAP.
