Don't delete anything. Take a fresh copy of Ace of Spades, copy the pack's files into the Ace of Spades folder and say yes to all the "do you want to replace".

Ummm... Sorry, but it doesn't work for me. I deleted all files and replaced with those, but every time I want to play, there's an error of client.exe.

Bit of an update. I've been modelling the Assault Rifle and Machinegun very ahead of time, but I'm not convinced I like the result--so I want you guys to decide if it looks good or what.

I was aiming for a very bulky gun that showed how burly the thing is, since assault rifles are usually powerful if slow-firing. Let's face it. There's some guns you simply don't want pointed at you. This is one of them.

Yeah. A chaingun for the really powerful automatic weapon, with copper pipes as barrels. Surprised? Regardless, it looks very bulky, so I'm not sure it'll work properly.

Thoughts? Ideas? Improvements?

Omg... That is epic, you deserve not one cookie but yes two cookies.

The fact that the player models changed colour made it not feel very steam punky at all so I edited the kv6 files. I have no problem identifying the enemy so colour identification isn't really important to me. Now they actually look steam punk in game.

Welcome, ladies and gentlemen. Welcome to the Steampunk Pack. This is, as you might guess, a modification of everything in Ace of Spades to make it more steampunk-ish. Well, everything except for bullet tracers and the helmets on the team selection screen.
And when I say everything, I mean everything. Ironsights and sounds for the main weapons have also been done. (The sound for the main rifle is pretty annoying, however.)

--THE VICTORIOUS THUNDER MK II VERSION 2-- (semi-automatic rifle skin, includes ironsights and very grating sounds)
A sleek, stylized rifle that is nice to look at when it's in your hands or the hands of a teammates. The bullets it fires have a muzzle velocity of 500 m/s, more than enough to put the pain in anyone's body fast enough they won't be able to say "mommy". Version 2 adds an exhaust pipe on the bolt, eliminating the previous steam overheat, a much needed fix.

The previous models were either weak, not fast enough, or overheated very easily. Enter the Chirping Steamer. Thanks to its wood and brass combination build, it is able to absorb and filter out part of the steam, and still keep its rate of fire and overall power.

Ever felt like you needed an unnecessary amount of punch to horribly mangle your enemy with over finesse and careful crafting of a weapon to kill people? Neither did we. However if you're one of these people, the Earthshaker is for you! Its advanced steam-based application shuffles the shells from the bottom to the barrel, allowing for powerful, if slow, shots to be doled out without a break! Unfortunately, it causes a lot of steam and it can overheat easily. Oh well. NEXT.
