Just type in the name of the map when the server asks for it WITHOUT the ".vxl" part. Now pick up your computer and throw it out the window.

I hate explaining to noobs on internet since you expect they have a decent understanding of the game. Also the OP is in the wrong section. How does this have anything to do with General Gameplay?

But I'll help you this time.

1. Download the map
2. Press the Windows logo on your keyboard, then press computer on the menu.
3. Navigate to C:/Ace Of Spades (or if you installed it somewhere else try searching it)
4.Open the AoS folder.
5. Open the .vxl folder within it.
6. Drag your map to the .vxl folder
7. Now run server.exe
8. Also run the pyspades server
9. If it asks you which map to load, enter the filename of the map which you downloaded.
10. Do what the command console tells you to.
11. If it says Disconnected from Master Server, redo steps 7-10.
12. Post a help topic in the proper section.

If you don't understand this, try asking someone who knows how to handle computers.

<sigh> OP would be short for Original Post. VXL FOLDER refers to the VXL folder in the Ace of Spades game folder which is where... you... put... your... map.

You didn't finish your sentence in OP.

Put the map in the .vxl folder. And when making a server put in the name of the map in the .vxl file that you want to use. (no spaces)

how do i get a map to my server i have downloaded it from pyspades but WHAT then ??
