The reason pinpoint gets so much attention is it's fast, quick action.
There's no thought or effort needed.
Combine that with so many kids playing this game, that tells you why it's so popular.

It's really not a good map, There's almost no tactical thought, no building, no tunneling, to trenches, just mindless shooting.

It may be fun for like 30 minutes at most, then it's boring.
At least for me.

It's not that Pinpoint's bad, it's just that it's not your kind of map. There's nothing wrong with it, I enjoy it. And the fact that Pinpoint and Hallway had the most people on there should show that.

if only ben could somehow limit the amount of custom maps, or atleast servers. LAst night there were 42 servers on, and about 8 where empty, and 70% had less then 10 people in them. the most? Pinpoint and hallway. I saw SIX pinpoint servers online at once, why couldn't 3 be enough? I wish there could be like 3-4 default servers that would refresh every 5 hours. Not even island is on anymore (which could be really fun) or Normandie (probably my favourite)

Also, people who like pinpoint ARE stupid and have no clue on how to hunt prey, avoid detection, and build cover.

Some custom maps are good, (bridge wars when not destroyed, renaissance town) but Pinpoint is the absolute WORST map out there, I don't know how anyone could like it. It's terrible, the people are stupid, & there's usually no cover.

Here's whats sad.

7 pinpoint maps
That's the ones that put it in their name.
Pinpoint is the cancer killing this game.
Maps like Normandy or jungle maps are fine, but maps like pinpoint, where there is little to no building or tunneling or trenches, ruin the game.

Some server needs to host the default map, It's still the best map so far.

I'm with you all the way. No one even hosts the default maps as far as I know - if I had the cash I'd do it myself but... well, you know how that goes.

Am I the only one that absolutely dreads the custom maps? The only reason I play on them is because the servers are actually full.
Not to mention the spoiled brats that play on them. I was in a full server once with the random map on it, and all the kids where whining for the admin to change the map to Pinpoint.

Seriously guys, what do you guys see in these HORRIBLE maps?

People on here are just a bit stupid I guess.
People build walls of 10 blocks high and whine when someone comes and griefs it. Isnt that obvious? You KNOW there are griefers here. A MUCH better idea is to dig trenches, because they cant be griefed. Throw a grenade in there and you've just made yourself an even bigger trench. Save to say, people laughed at me when I proposed trenches instead of big ass walls.

Where is the common sense people?
