wow, that looks pretty awesome. i might even use it, cool idea for the guns. the only thing i dont like is the goggles, but that is only because the default player looks so funny that i do not want to change it

It has potential, but no offense if I'm sniping I have no idea if they're handling a shotgun or a sniper. Add even a bigger difference. Make 1 bigger and one smaller. Do something. +1/2

I'm the same way SLAYER, Keep it simple and sleek, no flashy colours. It's actually pretty awesome if you only use one at a time cause you don't have to worry about telling them apart. I'm using juat the smg and it's awesome.

"guns suck, players rule" seems to be the unanimous opinion of the forum on my pack. Grey and bland is just how I roll.

The guns (to be blunt) suck and don't look very exciting. Hard to tell who's using what until you die from it.
The player models are the highlight of this pack. They're epic. I'm downloading this.

Glad to see you thinking about it. I didn't really put too much thought into the cartridges or reliability although I would hope that it is very reliable. Personally, I kind of treat the smg as more of a mid power assault rifle cartridge and the semi as a full power rifle cartridge. You're right about the barrel lengths though. I noticed that the smg and shotgun have the same overall barrel length, although the smg has the 1 block flash hider included in that length. One of the things that I now regret is not paying enough attention to the barrel lengths. In game, I think it looks bad if you can't see the barrel sticking out of the gun. I also realize now that I didn't put a preview of what it looks like to hold the guns in the game either. If I am to update the pack, part of the changes will be the barrels as it is clear that everyone wants a bit more distinction between the models. Feel free to edit them however you wish, you may want to decrease the barrel length of the smg model and maybe make the magazine only 1 block long, depending on what cartridge you think it should take. Same goes for the rifle, maybe make it's magazine 2 blocks long.

EDIT: I just checked have a 1x1 block magazine for the SMG and it doesn't fit in too well.

As for the shotgun, I kind of outlined it's operation in the post above yours. It is fed through an internal tube magazine as this keeps with the ingame shotgun mechanics and helps to differentiate between the models.

I was thinking about making the 3D block style irons for them as well as 3D block style scopes that would fit the weapon. I'll try it out later and see how it goes.

I just took one block off of each corner of the head. Apparently you're allowed to remove them but not add them? I didn't look into it too much. For the dead model, you're allowed to add extra blocks which is how I got that little blood pool.

I think the idea behind the guns is really cool. I just had to look at them for a couple minutes to realize what the differences were haha.

howd you make the rounded head? I thought it comes as an error if you remove/add voxels to body parts.

The original smg iron sight looks great on the non-scoped weapons, and you can just use whatever scope you want for the scoped weapons
