Why wouldn't yuou uninstall with add/remove programs?

He's my friend, and he's been discussing the problem with us on Skype.
Seeing as he isn't getting the point across, I'll try and explain it as much as I can from what I've heard.

Basically, yesterday, he was happily playing AoS with us, and we were having fun, three friends, voice chatting and playing AoS as a group and pwning everyone (pretty much :D) but today, Dark logs on, tries to click a server on the server list and nothing happens.
He restarts his computer.
Doesn't help.
Tries the repair option in the installer.
Doesn't help.
He uninstalled it, but not with the program's built in uninstaller - he did it via uninstall unwanted apps. This might be why its not letting him run the installer now to get it back on his system?

It was working fine for him, but now its not. Please help so we can go back to playing as a squad!

Uh... I didn't understand, english please.
So you tried to get on a server and it didnt work, you tried to uninstall and reinstall but whenever you try to run it nothing happens, it doesn't appear that the server was full or misconfigured nor anything? If it didn't appear that it means you didn't even install Ace of Spades.

this morning i was trying to get into a server with my freinds and nothin happened i tryed t uninstall and reinstall but whenever i try to run it nothing happens
