Cool trick :) saves a lot of time :)

for the pallets stick to the 16 bit 256 colors, and you should be more accurate.

I used your F7 trick just now to do this and it works really well considering the limitations of .kv6

The way I did it skips the bitmap converter

1) Converted bitmap to .png
2) Open voxed
3) build a big low box, default color
4) press "p" to project the .png onto the top of the box
5) isolate the top
6) F7 export to .kv6

Doesn't seem to like it when there's a rainbow gradient, it'll just pick the colors it likes at random.

Yea I learned that today. I have a way to poke pallets into it as well with bitmaps.

If you have a custom pallet you want , i can make it into a starter file for you.

Use the numpad keys to adjust the color channel.
1,4 = adjust red down or up
2,5 = adjust green down or up
3,6 = adjust blue down or up

The ranges are from 0-63, so if you want to convert from the standard 0-255 color channel range, you can easily use this formula...

c'=63*(c/255)

Does anyone know how to customize the Slab6 palette? I know it can only handle 256 colors, but there's a palette that says *which* 256 colors are used. The standard palette is washed out, and the tracer palette isn't what I'm looking for.
