Oh come on... Google it. I usually use something simple like "shotgun sound effect" and you'll see a lot of sources pop up in the results... many of them free and public-domain. Then you'll want to load it into a free sound editor like Audacity, for example, and make sure it's a 16-bit 44Khz mono wave file.

Quick question- how do you get custom sounds for weapons? :-\ And maybe we could use this thread to provide a list of sounds?
