The cheater on the enemy team that kills you makes it impossible to kill (if they have an aimbot, they can only be killed by luck or grenades) and the team with the cheater get their kills stolen.
Nobody wins except haxx0r.
Only remedy is: Votekick, Admin ban, Server Shutdown, Other Cheater, If Hacker leaves himself, if he is trolled/owned in chat real hard.

What is the mutual advantage of cheating anyway? The only thing you show off there is a vulnerability that is exploitable. Tell Ben right away.

the principle is that hacking a form of cheating in a game. and cheating is bad. doesn't matter how cheating is used. its bad. baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaddd. did you get the message yet? :D

IMO, the reason why hacking (in the context of Computer gaming, especially AoS) is loathed is because of instances where said hacker uses them in, for instance, a completely normal game.

With trainers, he/she can wipe the floor with the competition who more or less only have their wits and skills to pit against the hacker's augmented prowess.

TL;DR - Hacks b IMBA on n00bz and n0rm4l pl4y5hs.

well.....the majority of "hackers" on here just download something install and then god mode or inf ammo.....no skill involved

Hacking gives you an unfair advantage in public servers. Unless you somehow hack yourself to have 50 less hp. But seriously, who on earth would do that?

Yes everything can be used for good purposes and bad, if i wanted to i could probably go out on a murder rampage with a butter knife. however said butter knife is only bad when used to hurt people (or ya know, stuff other than stuff with food thats bad). likewise hacking could save lives (Which it does), but a majority of the time it isnt. people dislike hacking here so much because its almost exclusively used to ruin others fun.

i think that it would be cool if you could change the gravity, and things like that. so you can have a moon map, and then jump around with low gravity

hacking is cool as long as it doesn't negatively affect the experience for others

most people who use game hacks have some kind of unfair advantage - that's cheating and it's not ok because it ruins the fun for those who play the game's intended design

It's viewed as a bad thing because it introduces a negative experience for the other users. You can cut it how you want but that's the end result.

Also, the term "hacker" is very misconstrued. I'd say 99% of these self-proclaimed "hackers" don't have a clue what hacking really is.
