basically much better than cod wont ya say?

^Tim i really REALLY hope your being sarcastic or are of the 10-14 year old group (the group CoD is now marketed for) its a medium speed first person frag fest its all about kills, kill streaks, and dumb ass "trick" shots.

ARMA 2 is more along the liens of work as a team for the love of god have a mic and if you screw up your dead if you do things right there's a 65% chance your still alive

Step two, acquire skills
Step three, frag
Step four, have fun
Step five, win and have a nice walk in the park

Team Fortress 2, great balance in classes, teamwork required to achieve objectives.

Haha, I know silly! When I say completely dead I'm referring to Point of Existence 2. My personal BF2 phase already come and went a few years ago, but that game will always hold a special place in my heart. <3

And yes! Love PR, unfortunately I just don't have the time these days for those long drawn out games. Super fun though.

Love BF2, and in my opinion the greatest mod ever released for it: Point of Existence 2. Took a fabulous game to a whole new level of fun and teamplay.

Shame that it's basically completely dead.

Here are some philosophies of the top selling FPS games and AoS, feel free to tell me anything to add:

Call of Duty Series=
Being a lonewolf, run and gun, set on being the hero of the match, in the spotlight, go for kills and killstreaks
Being the hero of the match, set out to look different from others. By any means to win, strategies developed, camping, etc. Short intense matches

Advantage=Skilled players are not doomed to lose a match if their team is full of noobs.

Battlefield Series=
Lonewolfs will get nowhere, teamwork is a must, coordinate armor, air assaults, building demolitions, capture points, squads, depend on each other to spawn into enemy territory, trying to be the shining star of the match with a KDR is not looked upon, the community mostly doesn't give a crap cool moments like 360 noscopes and Helicopter pilot sniping. long matches where the turning point is on a see-saw. Not won by individuals. Hard to blaze your way to the objective as there will be heavy resistance

Advantage=communication with teammates

Ace of Spades=
Teamwork is a opinion, not a must, there are a large variety of people in the game, builders, spies, griefers. However, to really get anywhere instead of two walls facing each other full fire, requires teamwork, to build infrastructure, push the front lines forward, squads infiltrate the base and spawn kill, capture the intel, etc. Sadly, teamwork is often rare in the game as most charaters go on and off to their own ways, building things in the back that are prone to be destroyed, usually certain characters become the stars of the match, but won't get far as there is heavy enemy resistance.
