It's been common knowledge that Mirrors Edge 2 was delayed because of Battlefield 3 for a long time.

there will be more mirrors edge baby! and the 1.8 update has been delayed to some where around the 12th of this month! the reason that mirrors edge has been put to a hold i due to the development of bfbc2 and bfbc3!
