oi dont sterotype him you thought he learned engineering just cause he dose i have for 2 years i got a B in my deploma which is worth 7 GCSE's dosent mean i know everything its like i know alot of electronics like resisters thermistors and stuff like that but when is comes down to applying what ive learned i suck...

If you have a HDTV like me changing the resolution makes a big difference.

At 1920x1080 my screen only refreshes at 60Hz... but at 1024x768 I can go up to 75Hz which is much better.

All it really does is make the GUI smaller the higher res.

Your lack of common sense, it scares me.

Changing the resolution won't really do anything, or offer any advantages apart from making the text smaller and giving you more space to see around the map. The only difference is that Windows (or whatever operating system is) doesn't have to change the display mode when you alt+tab out.

I changed the default to .....

xres 1280
yres 1204

Yet when i go ingame....all's that changed is that the text etc is way smaller.....

Am i doing it wrong?
