I've noticed that some blocks just seem to "go away" on their own sometimes - could be that you just had that happen as you walk along?

Or, someone might be shooting at you and hit the block under you which collapsed?

Fall damage happens after about 5 or so blocks I think so could easily be the HP lose.

For what its worth, I dont get any damage when the server lags.

My computer isn't the best, but it runs STALKER/Morrowind and stuff like that quite well... (Even though they're not the bestest games. I know.)

When I get a lag spike my screen doesn't shake, but everything just stops. I don't hear noise but I can still move around and shoot. Then everything *blinks* forward to where it should be lolol. Also I don't lose HP apart from the falling damage.

Anyway, thanks for the replies peeps I guess there's not much I can do.

It's probably just because you're either using a fail computer (like a netbook) or the server is set up bad.

BEZ i posted this in my wip help guide, as jesseq says its caused by lag, the amount of damage you get is affected by how bad it spikes.

@Bez, it's not about your internet with that speed. Can't really think what it could be :P

Ah hey, if your computer has a lag spike, screen will start shaking -> you lose HP.

Seriously, it only happens every now and then but I'll be walking along, say a bridge/2nd level in a sniper tower/trench with no blocks beneath the floor... And I will randomly fall through to the level below?

Am I the only one who gets this now and then? Its pretty annoying guise.
