i no i just downloaded 1.8 today and the prerelease for it was bad

....The server went down because a lot of people tried to download 1.8 AT THE SAME TIME... Which overloaded their servers, cause minecraft.net to crash.

use hammachi that is what i use it workks better and is not hard with oppening your ports
