Eh, you guys who think the SMG is too underpowered just afraid that you won't get as many kills Semi-ing people now. XD

I dont like this update. I think now the SMG is overpowered. Plus I agree with Zeke

actually i had a project so i wasn't able to try out .60 and i got back on the forums yesterday. So i haven't heard anything!

The idea of a midnight release on a school night seems a bit iffy to me. If I were Ben, I'd choose to release it on the weekends, or at least the afternoon.

But I mean the Semi is just 1 to the head or 3 to the body, and can be used to any range at full effectiveness... :( Nothing really beats that, considering that lots of people can quick scope w/ Semi's and the SMG is more of a weapon for a firefight. You just have to play smarter instead of playing cheaper from now on in my opinion, and that's how I'd like it. :D

Well now you need 2 shots in head or 1 in body and 1 in head to get a kill....kinda cheap as before it was 3 to head and 5 to body.....I preferred it like that.

For the SMG? That's basically what they did in the entire update... .______.' Have you not been listening??? XD

I hope they increase the power a bit and decrease the recoil

Lol yeah ditto. :P But I mean, when it comes to the SMG, I kinda hope it will become MORE popular. :) I really just can't stand all of those people who are cheap w/ the Semi's, and I give HUGE props to the people that can pwn w/ Shotguns. ;D The SMG is probably the closest thing to a balance, and if EVERYONE used them, then we would all be kinda balanced, no? :D It would just be dependent on skill.

I actually like the idea of a better SMG, because it was mostly just like how people quickscoped in COD, but w/ THESE revamped SMGs, it will be more like the real firefighting between troops w/ automatic weapons!!! >:D (Plus, I just can't STAND those Semi campers who are like impossible to kill... -____________-' They always have the advantage because they have the cover every time, so yeah. Once somebody has PERFECTED a map where there's an equal amount of cover for everyoneat all times, THEN I'll be happy. XD)

well CoD has health regen, that plays a big factor in fire fights.

Even in cod, as simple as it is, it's hard to get kills with an smg from a distance. It NEEDS ti get changed.

well not to be a troll here, but SMG's are known to have low recoil and high fire rate with well placed shots from close range. So it's perfectly fine to spray. Just watch out when ur turning a corner. Like Cpt. Price said in MW1,
"Check you're corners!"

Well I have to admit smg seems kinda fun. But dont you like for example:

WHAT EVERY GAME IT IS (Mine COD :D)

*Some1 comes around the corner*

*You both see each other*

*Both start shooting smg*

*Both jumping, sliding and all*

*Other guy wins*

That kinda stuff is fun, in many ways

I don't want to die because some1 just help down the left mouse....You don't even have to eye down your sights just shoot!

I enjoy using the SMG now. (even though I have been forced to use it due to using a touchpad).. but it is pretty fun to use, nowhere near as clunky as it used to be - has half a chance against the rifle.
The update is pretty sweet.

I always loved the SMG, and now will be far better to use it now :D
