It's meant to replace the file "block.kv6" but you could probably use it as intel.(Block.kv6 is the standard block when carried by a player)

I made a companion cube from Portal in place of the normal block when it is carried by a player. I saw a portal gun mod and thought, "I need a companion cube."

You need to replace the file "block" in the kv6 folder.
