Maan. It seems your crossbow will beat out mine for sure. I was actually planning to use it for our official server reskin, but then then Bobunny told me you were making one and I was like,

On the trad. sight, could you still put like a red area near the tip for help on guidance like the Gewehr?

Of course, thats always been the plan!
All the sights I make will fit the blocky theme perfectly, just like my Plasma Coil model. Not to mention be 100% accurate!

That is TheOperator's guarantee!

I think the regular sight would be awesome, however I must request it be blocky, fit the Voxel theme, and the middle line needs to be accurate to a point, but still around 3 pixels.

I am planning on re-releasing this gun mod with a completely new texture/sound pack in the near future. It will include space suits, a laser shovel, a drill to replace the pickaxe, among many other things.

But before I do that I need to find one of those advertisement sites that pay you for getting people to click your link, that way all you have to do is watch some 30 second advertisement before you are redirected to the site where you can download the file, and I can make a little bit of money :D

(so far a couple thousand people have downloaded all of my mods released so far, I don't think anybody would mind helping to financially support me for these free texture packs, would they?)

sure thing! I think a neon red diamond design would go perfectly with the crossbow!

Again though, pl0x on a new target? Request being something of a sideways square, like a diamond. Any color but preferably a dark blue or a light grey. Maybe with the crossbow?

Thats quite funny, I was planning on making a crossbow soon anyway! XD

as for sniping with the sights, I know its not as easy as some sight mods (still easier then the original sights) I made them the way I did because

A. It looks cool
B. Its designed for faster target acquisition

once something is in your sights you KNOW its in your sights
you can still snipe with it since the sights are 100% accurate

I already have the perfect firing sound for the crossbow, now all I need to do is make a reloading sound and get to work on the kv6/png files!

expect to see a crossbow within a week or so...

Btw, this gun is less practical for sniping due to the sights, however no scoping IMO is easier

Alright guys, here is something made COMPLETELY from scratch! (some of the sounds were altered from pre-existing samples)

This took a lot of effort, but I think this style of sight will go PERFECTLY with future ironsight mod releases, as it retains the blocky graphics and doesn't ruin the game, while offering a lot of room for detailing!

The sights are 100% accurate, I have tested them on headshots from ALL ranges.

I hope you all enjoy this mod and look forward to being the first person to create complete weapon mod packs!
