The word "banned" means to Officially exclude someone. A use for this word would be:
"Lokiamis was banned from using the shower."

This example indicates that the user/person "Lokiamis" was denied access to using the shower. He was excluded.

The unoffical forums are doing fine. No one shit posts for no reason, or anything dumb. There's also more categories for different threads, and everything any moderator does is logged in the moderator log. So if someone gets banned or whatever, all the mods will know. Also, it just plain looks nicer imo.
