I used to ran at 1280x1024 which is not 4:3, but that's my native resolution. And it worked. Though I found it ugly and chat was unreadable.

This, and I think the vox count for the weapons should be reduced again. Weapons are... Extremely awkward to model now. And I plan on releasing my original style models. If I can even find them now, I deleted them haha.

Not only are they awkward to model, they don't fit with the "art" style of the rest of the game, being overly detailed.

I'm getting the 'initdirectdraw' error message on custom resolutions as well. Anyone know what's the highest resolution supportable? If it must be in the 4:3 aspect as someonesomewhere stated above.

I had issues on 42 and 47 when I tried to change the resolution up to my native resolution (1440x900). Though it migjt just be that it needs a 4:3 ratio but none of the "usual" ones above 1024x768 work. I got a initdirectdraw failed or somesuch - try setting down to 1024 x 768 and see if that allows you to start up

Yeah I liked default gun/tool voxel resolution too.

Right now it looks more like all those crap german Locomotion mods = (shit, retarded and not very good).

And about 800x600... Works fine for me. Been playing like this since I changed my name.

The game looks like shit now whenever I move my mouse, and the FPS seems noticeably lower on my 8core processor. The smoothness/FPS also drastically decreases when changing the resolution.

Ben, I don't think you're putting everything you have done on the changelog.. psst vsync.

Whenever I turn my mouse to look around now everything gets noticeably distorted. It looks bad. Why even change it in the first place?
