We all know that player skins are editable, but we can't add long hair or trenchcoats to the players because of the block limit to prevent players from size cheating. But what if player skins and hitboxes were separated? say, in the next update we have new .kv6 models called "hitboxhead.kv6", "hitboxtorso.kv6", etc. This way we could make all kinds of crazy stuff to the player models and plus we could have SEPARATED TEAM PLAYER MODELS (so allys vs axis would be posible to do). |

Yeah like big antennas on top of enemies so i can see them digging and hiding. |

I'm gonna edit everyone's hitbox to be the size of the entire map. This way, all I have to do is shoot my gun and I kill someone. Or, I'm going to edit the hitboxes to be as small as they can, this way, no one dies. |

No, the OP meant models are editable but not hitboxes. I think. |

Hmm... sounds like red-cheat helmets aren't enough, antennas are needed... I have nothing against, as long as mods are server side, loaded while joining. |

I think the only problem with this would be people getting mad because they're hitting like, one block outside the 'hitbox' and not doing any damage. |

Why not just keep the current hitbox and make it so the bullet goes through those extra few blocks you added? |

I like noire's idea, it would be fair to everyone, and a disadvantage to anyone who actually uses a bigger model, as they wouldn't know where to actually shoot for a hit. Unless they have some sort of giant antenna on their head. Hmm. |

Good idea, but needs more elaboration/ As long as you can't edit the hitbox we'll be fine from cheaters and such. So yeah, Noire's idea with more text here. |

but remember, skins aren't server side. so it would only be an advantage. I'm using a delta force(ish) skin and the only way i can tell a blue from the green is if they are shooting at me, i put the default sights over them and see no name, or i'm close enough to see the patch i stuck on them (it is 00 00 00 so it makes it the team color of whichever you join) |

Well, that would definitely help the players that can't ever spot a good sniper. Seeing a huge trex glitching in the side of a mountain would be a small hint. |

Yeah my idea is basically what Noire said, and obviously the hitbox file should be a locked file. I know we can already make good skins, but what if I want to make a Cloud skin? how would I add the spiky hair and stuff D:? |
