I've begun working on a reskin/map pack inspired by the source mod NeoTokyo

i just thinkg AoS's slow gunplay (ie dont be an idiot and get shot in the face) would be badass as fuck in an enclosed "indoor" map, with people weaving through pillars, busting holes in walls and ceilings, covering each other's asses like operators, and all that jazz.

currently, im working on the player skins, wich would be identical sans the color (based on the mod's support class) with the colors being
Blue: NSF
Green: Jinrai

the gun would be modeled after the Sanjuro SRMS-7 supressed smg, with the gun sound replaced by a supressed mp5 firing

im not sure what the intel would get reskinned to, but im leaning on keeping the suitcases

Spades would be battering rams ( like the ones used by police) and pickaxes would stay the same (albeit with minor tweaks)

i wanna hear if people like this, and to create a placeholder to update to as i go

haha, cool. i'm surprised to see mention of NeoTokyo, let alone a mod based on it. i'll try it!

I'm interested to see what it will look like! Sounds like a bit of a challenge to make a map like that.

I would be interested in seeing how this turns out. My only concern would be the Silenced MP5 sound would put people using it at a disadvantage as it would be more difficult to hear.

Other than that, I hope to see an update sometime soon!

Indoor idea sounds great but I could only see that working if you just put a giant slab of block in the middle of the map (That you cant go around.) in order to make hallways in simply because griefing would otherwise be a problem. Also you spawn on top of things.

Sure, id be willing to have someone with more mapping experience help me out. I kinda have an idea of what i want the map to look like, would you mind me sending sketches and such?

notice extra arms. it bothered me that it didnt look like Deuce was holding the gun by the hand grip , so i did a bit of fiddling. looks stupid in weapons menu, but looks good on model and players

also, new aiming mode, featuring face screen readouts! now Deuce is a goddamn power armored bastard!

Update: Ive discostinued work on the blockytokyo mod- mainly because i want to turn it into something original rather than a tribute.

So this project,with new unique content will be released under the name SystemArms
