Version Number Two of GeneralJoe's Telescopic Sights Pack. Unfortunately, on these forums, you can only edit your latest post, otherwise this would be in my old thread (Link). All sights in this pack come in Long and Short Eye Relief versions. I might as well show you some screenies of these in use. CLOSE EYE RELIEF: Fine Crosshairs **NEW** LONG EYE RELIEF: Fine Crosshairs **IMPORTANT** Get the full pack here: Old Versions: The above .zip includes: Thanks go out to Warservers and Premium, where I took most of the screenshots, and MachoMan, he died for a good cause. Also thanks to Sweet_Ride, he asked me to create what I now call the "Long Eye Relief" versions. I love them, and I currently use them. |

Newb question, when i swap the png files out (semi.png) and load up a map, my sights seem squished downward, making an oval shape, anyone know how to fix this so the sight is actually circular? Edit: changing my resolution doesn't effect this |

The Fine Crosshairs looks like the FG42 from Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory. |
#16747 ChaosMarine Member Posted 13 years ago |
Atomic, if you have widescreen monitor, you can't help it You can always get DXWnd and play it windowed. |

Woot! I have been plaigarised! Somebody blatantly reposted one of my sights. Not that I approve, but it is an honour to know that somebody thought that these were good enough to claim as their own. |
#18850 GeneralJoe Member Posted 13 years ago |
How do you download them? because i want long eye relief floating dot |
#20659 XaosMaster97 Member Posted 13 years ago |

#20758 GeneralJoe Member Posted 13 years ago |
could you make the SVD one? |
#21402 adhiofawkes Member Posted 13 years ago |
I have a BETTER idea for your cross hairs... make the lines translucent so we can confirm if we are pointing the hairs on our target correctly... |

could some one tell me how to apply the scopes, i am a noob(i am 13), i need a walkthrough so maybe a video on youtube? |
#26467 0048611 Member Posted 13 years ago |
You know what? That you cannot do this is entirely your fault. Don't blame it on your age. I am only just older than you. There are so many walkthroughs around, why the hell are you unable to search the Wiki, oh hang on, it seems there is a link on the main page for "modding". Fucking hell. Use your grey matter, why don't you? I did, I clicked the link, to find that it didn't have any info on reskinning sights. OHMYGODWHATDOIDONOW?!?!?1 What is it that you need? Technical support. There is a support section on the forums, isn't there? GO THERE. tl;dr: Use your own brain, I'm in a bad mood. PS: Use punctuation and grammar. ============================================================ @Legox50 DIY with the provided Paint.NET project files. Apologies for my rant. |

Thank you Noire. |
#26689 webb Member Posted 13 years ago |
Fine. I shall help. But we seriously need a sticky for these things. 0048611: Go to where you installed Ace of Spades. This should be C:\Ace of Spades\, if you didn't change anything. Take one of my files, and rename it to "semi.png" (or just "semi", if you don't see ".png"), then copy it into the "png" folder. Start AoS. You should have your custom ironsight! |
#26694 GeneralJoe Member Posted 13 years ago |
I've done than but it wouldn't work. |
#27269 Haywood Jablomie Member Posted 13 years ago |
What exactly did you do? In what way didn't it work? Make sure that the new sight is called semi.png. |
#27276 GeneralJoe Member Posted 13 years ago |
@GeneralJoe I do make my own cross hairs. In fact, I thank you for making these awsome scopes because I use them as a base referance for my DIY scopes Ex: My newer one has a combo of Floating dot and German #4 with a couple of details. |
#27516 Legox50 Member Posted 13 years ago |
Joe would say: old thread is old. Go to version three thread. |
#27754 stk Member Posted 13 years ago |
