Version Number Two of GeneralJoe's Telescopic Sights Pack. Unfortunately, on these forums, you can only edit your latest post, otherwise this would be in my old thread (Link).

All sights in this pack come in Long and Short Eye Relief versions. I might as well show you some screenies of these in use.

    CLOSE EYE RELIEF:

    Fine Crosshairs
    Duplex
    German #1
    German #4
    Mil-Dot
    Floating Dot

    **NEW** LONG EYE RELIEF:

    Fine Crosshairs
    Duplex
    German #1
    German #4
    Mil-Dot
    Floating Dot

    **IMPORTANT**
All of my sights are centered thus:
    Centering

    Get the full pack here:
    Full Pack

    Old Versions:
    Version 1

    The above .zip includes:
    - All sights as 800x600 .png files.
    - All sights as 800x600 .pdn Paint.NET project files.
    - The image from Wikipedia used by me as a reference

Thanks go out to Warservers and Premium, where I took most of the screenshots, and MachoMan, he died for a good cause. Also thanks to Sweet_Ride, he asked me to create what I now call the "Long Eye Relief" versions. I love them, and I currently use them.

Newb question, when i swap the png files out (semi.png) and load up a map, my sights seem squished downward, making an oval shape, anyone know how to fix this so the sight is actually circular?

Edit: changing my resolution doesn't effect this

The Fine Crosshairs looks like the FG42 from Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory.

Atomic, if you have widescreen monitor, you can't help it

You can always get DXWnd and play it windowed.

Thanks, it's good to get encouragement like that, else I might stop!

I have never used the KV6 editor, but hey, why not? It'll take a while, though.

Woot! I have been plaigarised! Somebody blatantly reposted one of my sights.

Not that I approve, but it is an honour to know that somebody thought that these were good enough to claim as their own.

I have a BETTER idea for your cross hairs... make the lines translucent so we can confirm if we are pointing the hairs on our target correctly...

    You know what?

That you cannot do this is entirely your fault. Don't blame it on your age.

I am only just older than you.

There are so many walkthroughs around, why the hell are you unable to search the Wiki, oh hang on, it seems there is a link on the main page for "modding". Fucking hell. Use your grey matter, why don't you?

I did, I clicked the link, to find that it didn't have any info on reskinning sights.

    OHMYGODWHATDOIDONOW?!?!?1

What is it that you need? Technical support. There is a support section on the forums, isn't there?

    GO THERE.

tl;dr: Use your own brain, I'm in a bad mood.

    PS: Use punctuation and grammar.

    ============================================================

    @Legox50

DIY with the provided Paint.NET project files.

    Apologies for my rant.

Fine. I shall help. But we seriously need a sticky for these things.

    0048611:

Go to where you installed Ace of Spades. This should be C:\Ace of Spades\, if you didn't change anything.
In this folder is a folder called "png". Enter it.
Rename the "semi.png" file to "standard.png" as a backup of the original. If only see "semi", without the ".png" part, the ignore the ".png" part of any file names i mention

Take one of my files, and rename it to "semi.png" (or just "semi", if you don't see ".png"), then copy it into the "png" folder.

Start AoS. You should have your custom ironsight!

What exactly did you do? In what way didn't it work? Make sure that the new sight is called semi.png.

    @GeneralJoe

I do make my own cross hairs. In fact, I thank you for making these awsome scopes because I use them as a base referance for my DIY scopes

    Ex:
I used a combination of Mil-dot, Floating dot and Duplex on one of my first cross- hairs. Works pretty well, but it is a little over kill.

My newer one has a combo of Floating dot and German #4 with a couple of details.
