If anyone played Team Buddies on the PlayStation, I think AoS could benefit from a crafting system similar to that. There was a crafting zone and you placed blocks in a certain pattern and it gave you something in return. Like a tank or weapon type. I'm not sure what AoS-style things would be crafted, but I think it would add another dynamic. Especially for those who don't build much. |

Screw Minecraft. I mean like placing a bunch of blocks in a shape or pattern and getting a tank. Not putting 5 blocks to get a different helmet or some crap. Like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y7vXE-BeWSM |

if a little depth was added to it I think it would become a really neat mechanic. ex. you need to put a certain amount of iron blocks in certain shape to make a tank and to make a flamethrower you have to put lava in a hole then draw a nozzle. It would be pretty cool to see some competition for recources. |

There will NEVER be resources on this fucking game... where the fuck would you get the iron from? There's never going to be blocks over than the ones you see now. Plus why is there a need to craft shit? This is a FPS... |

Well it's not just a first-person shooter. It's got digging and hiding and building. I don't think it's that much of a stretch to have something like this. Maybe "crafting" isn't the right word. I don't want Ace of Spades to have resources that you have to grind for. Just maybe using the blocks as some kind of currency. So at the cost of the 50 blocks you have, you can trade them in for something in return. Maybe it's a way to introduce weapons into the game without having them a permanent part of the inventory. |

Please, don't think of it as "A sandbox with guns", think of it as "Guns with destructible terrain". Mainly the guns. |

I sometimes wish that it wasn't destructable. |

I thought about it, and at first it seemed kinda cool to be able to craft shit, but then I thought about it some more, and figured that everything would be unnecessary to gameplay, so I thought about my response, and I don't have one. |

I think we should make special building blocks that take three hits from the shovel and 9 hits from the pickaxe, but make it only replenish-able from the H.Q., you get them any other way. |
