Regardless of if we're using bbpress, it shouldn't be that big of a deal to replace the search button with a link to google that searches for things specifically on this site.

I'd imagine that implementing something like that would take more effort to implement than a plugin heh.

@Spengbab: The search feature is mentioned at the very beginning of the thread. Creating another sticky wouldn't guarantee anything, seeing as if they didn't read the guidelines, they probably won't read that either.

And I'm assuming you're talking about the CustomCipher on my site? I haven't turned it into a client, but I could try when I get the chance. I've been rather busy lately.

@Kaede-chan: It wouldn't be hard (in theory) to change how search queries are sent and processed.

I think that admins should warn or ban ONLY if somebody breaks a rule of the guidelines.
The guidelines are meant to prevent all of the bad things from happening (or allow them to be dealt with), so if you guys warn or ban someone for something out of the guidelines, then either you shouldn't have done that OR you should update the guidelines.

the guidelines are just a guide, it's up to you to put in the effort to follow the direction laid out by them

Devas, you're pushing your luck - right now is a good time to start taking some responsibility rather than continuing to rely on us to tell you everything that's unacceptable

The guidelines' purpose is to list everything that's not acceptable... Yet there are more things that you guys won't accept. Update them please.

Looks like the rules are already there. Just like what we talked about. Just because you choose to believe you aren't provoking people doesn't mean we should write more rules.

Sorry about that. I think right now we're good with the moderation team, especially with Lythrynyx recently being added. We may be looking for additional moderators in the future though.
