The map includes some basic hills and a barren frozen wasteland aesthetic. An interesting river system develops because of the many bodies of water on Norway's shore and the sea separating Sweden and Finland.

I'll be hosting it for a few hours tonight probably. Feel free to use at your own will.

Why frozen wasteland?

I assume that's what the remote parts of Northern Europe are like >_>

If it makes you feel any better I may throw in some snowy trees in a V2. I already have a forested map though.

Hey Sasquatch. I was wondering if you might wanna do a collaboration map with me. Me and my friend are making bases and such on a normal AoS map by hand (Suck with Voxed) and were wondering if after we were done doing that you could maybe add some light sources to the bases and put some trees on the green side of the map to make it more original? If your interested let me know! I have Skype and Windows Live messenger if you want to talk privately.

Light sources only appear in voxed. Once hosted on a server all maps have their brightness values equalized and are shadowed from there with AoS's own lighting scheme. Instead of adding the trees myself I might just upload the kvx files of trees that I have made for myself so that you or anyone else can use them. Speaking of which, I plan to make some skyscrapers and bridges with Slab6 soon, making constructing forts a lot easier. If you want email me what you've got at [email protected] I'll take a look but no guarantees I'll do anything with it, sorry.

You don't seem to realize that we may have so hot summer nights here that they're classed as tropical. I live in southern Sweden, and currently it's so damn hot I almost have to sleep in the basement.

Look at a normal map, Scandinavia is green exept the absolute northern areas. The map looks very good indeed shapewise, but it isn't a part of the north pole :P

Well I like having a vivid imagination lol.

Rename it "Scandinavia at the North Pole" :D!

Or just call it an ice age or something :D
