Had a very awesome game last night...seemed like neither team had that many bob-the-builders. There were some pretty crazy defenses all around, and both teams were pressing the attack. Power fluctuated between teams as one capture would spark an offensive response from the victim team.

Being the practical, down-to-earth Blue that I am, I realized that the 4-4 stalemate wasn't going to change (and that it was 3am) so I went to bed :P

Man it was fun though. Lots of intense head-on battles between squadrons. But it also made me realize the importance of capture limits, else the game is doomed to become saturated :P

I'm sure the dev will add cap limits soon; without them, there is no incentive to play the game, and you end up with people making shitty pixel art and "pwetty castles" all over the map.

You don't have to take parts in riots if you don't want to, put they still have a detrimental effect on the people ignoring them.

Okay, I guess that was kind of a retarded story. I was just excited about having a legitimate, competitive AoS game for pretty much the first time.

You have to admit, though, the forum is already clogged with "can't connect" threads and "made another voxel mod" and so forth. It really needs more categories. Then there could be a specific section for "battle stories that nobody wants to read" :P

Yeah, I'd like to have that too.

I'm sorry for what I said. I was in a bit of a mood earlier, and wrote that without thinking. Looking back, I realise that you were getting at something, that the story was relevent. In another thread I did exactly the same. I was a dick (there, not in the other thread).

Just was part of a great match, great off/def all around, everyone enjoying, until some POS decided the blue flag point was too well defended. Griefed theshit outta the place.
Changing teams in this game is far too easy.

with a bunch of guys in teamspeak we all went onto one server and had a pretty good round with forts and shit.
