Ban appeal:
I got banned for hacking on your server "aloha uswest hallway" and the reason is that my brother was using the pc with a different name but he used cheat engine to speed hack. He got banned and because it bans IP's i cannot play aswell. I am an honest player and I have never hacked and i don't support hacking.

cheating is one of two things i can't stand, devoted griefing is the other. griefers can change but cheaters don't deserve second chances.

whether you're guilty or innocent doesn't matter because you're the source that ruined enjoyment for others. apologizing to them might help you get lucky more than anything else.

There's a chance you're telling the truth, DustMako, but unfortunately it's impossible to know for sure, and I don't blame the Aloha admins for not unbanning you. Besides, there's the risk your brother could cause trouble again. Unfortunately, a single hacker is annoying enough to the community that most members are willing to lock out another honest player to get rid of them.

If and when we get sign-up email accounts, this sort of problem won't happen anymore. Until then, you're probably going to have to make it clear to your brother that hacking on a computer you share is not cool with you, or give up AoS.

Or get a proxy. ;-)
