  • Invalid Game File
  •

I keep trying to uninstall/reinstall it but every time it says invalid game file. This started happening when I tried to use a mod through Spadille. Before with mods, I just replaced the files with the correct ones and it worked. Now I can't even play with a fresh copy.
EDIT: Nevermind, I found out that the kv6 files for the player were all the same thing and it was from a mod I had downloaded. Weird.

Certain KV6 files are constrained in the sense that they can't exceed certain sizes. For example, the playerhead.kv6 cannot exceed it's original dimensions or else you will receive a "Invalid Game File" error. This can also be received by swapping incorrect KV6 files and the game thinks they are the same yet different dimensions.

Just thought I'd post that in case anybody else has a similar problem.

I think I figured out what the problem is. I think that the spadille mod manager changed everything to the same file, because the first time I used it was when the problem appeared. Trouble is, I uninstalled Spadille and got a fresh copy of AOs and the damn thing still changes the kv6 files to the same thing.

Maybe there's a problem with file modification permissions. You probably have AoS installed in C:\Program Files, which can only be modified by computer admins. Try an uninstall, then reinstall to C:\ so it's outside of program files.

    Hope this helps
