Can't join any server

I swear, all servers are impossible to join. Any idea why?

Same here, can't even join my own server even though other people can.

Likewise, don't even get gray worlds.

Could not connect to server is all I get.

I can't join any server at all on my desktop but I have no problems on my laptop, on the same internet connection.
Desktop is Windows XP SP3 with intel q6600 / geforce 8600GTS.
Laptop is Windows 7 with amd turion x2 ultra zm-84 / radeon 3100.
I'm not sure if all of that is relevant.

Try using internet explorer, experiment with setting the client to be run as administrator, and just be persistent. I finally got it to work last night, and only through links on internet explorer.

I'm having decent success with Chrome if you really hate using IE, I think that maybe Firefox is causing issues.

I use Chrome and get through to most servers fine. Some servers still have troubles though.

i cant join any servers what-so-ever, it says "bad configuration or full game" well something close to that, and it also says other messages when i try to join a game
