  • Pyspades help please
  •

    Ok so I host my Jakes Assassins server all the time, but people have been telling me to get pyspades. So I downloaded it, however I can not figure out how to work it for the life of me. Can someone please help me set up my pyspades. Or a link to a tutorial would be fine if there is one.

    to install zope.interface download this:
    http://pypi.python.org/packages/2.7/s/setuptools/setuptools-0.6c11.win32-py2.7.exe#md5=57e1e64f6b7c7f1d2eddfc9746bbaf20
    then add C:\Python27\Scripts to your path
    open up CMD and type:
    cd [Where the zope.interface .egg was downloaded to]
    in my case it was:
    C:\Documents and Settings\Haris\My Documents\Downloads
    then type:
    easy_install zope.interface

    to add a path do this:
    "On most current versions of Windows, you can change the PATH by right-clicking "My Computer", choosing "Properties" and selecting the "Advanced" tab, then clicking the "Environment Variables" button. PATH will be in the "System Variables" section, and you will need to exit and restart your command shell (command.com, cmd.exe, bash, or other) for the change to take effect. Be sure to add a ; after the last item on PATH before adding the scripts directory to it."

    If you don't want to get messy with the source, just get the win32 build and read the QuickStart guide.

    @jake1194:
    The guys who develop pyspades can be asked directly here if you are having any real difficulties.
    You may want to get the win32 build as mat^2 said, rather than playing with code: http://code.google.com/p/pyspades/wiki/QuickStart
