  • Classes (Kinda Concise)
  •  

    (Rifleman): Current Standard class, no changes.

    (Assault): Automatic Rifle (Less Damage per shot than Semi, less accurate.) 4x Grenades, 75 Block Cap, regular build tools.

    (Saboteur): Shotgun (Functions as expected) 3x Grenade (5 Cap), Explosive Charge (Timeable, 5x as radial as a grenade) Only spade.

    (Demolitions): Bazooka! (1 Rocket per reload, ammo cap of 6, rockets function like grenades that explode on contact, and go 1/6 the speed of a Semi Tracer) 2 Explosive charges. No tools.

    (Builder): Shotgun, Drill (2x speed of pickaxe) 150 Block Cap. Option of placing 5 blocks at once to create a stronger block 4x as hard to break as the standard. Spade.

    As much as these sort of guidelines have proved efficient according to modern day FPS's like COD and Battlefield, I wouldn't mind a bit more uniqueness.

    Even simpler

    The good with people (Supplies/Medic/leader deuce) - Gives ammo and or medical supplies/can heal. Maybe give a boost of some sort to surrounding players within a small radius. Has appropriate defects and or weapon for his class.. Can only be chosen in a squad and can only be one in a squad (Assuming battlefield style squad mechanics were implemented)

    The good with blocks deuce (Builder/Sapper/Destroyer) - Has more blocks, more effective demolitions. Has appropriate defects and or weapon for his class. Not sure if it would need capped. Can build supply tent as long as its outside a certain radius of an existing one. Can carry more blocks than other classes.

    Good with guns deuce (Soldier) - Same as now, with some minor adjustments perhaps.

    As it stands now ammo/supply tents arent important in the game at all. Lowering the starting ammo amount a little bit for the weapons and introducing this class system would sort it out.

    I think just two classes would be fine, Gunner, the current default, and Builder, less HP, faster block gathering, and more max blocks.

    Or no classes at all :)

    Right, but the general player population says "Put it in" And there needs to be more tools/ weapons. So I can't say I agree with you Lexsym.

    If more weapons or classes are added to the game I will probably stop playing. The game is fun in part because of its individuality with respect to modern shooters.

    why is it people think adding more guns will turn the game into COD?
    COD didn't invent guns you know.

    anyway i think there should be some classes, and they would be like
    "generic rifleman"
    "smg guy"
    "block blower upper guy"
    and maybe another, but thats it. of course non-combat focused classes should also be available.

    You can add more weapons and tools without having to add "classes".
