    War Against Weaboo's

    Replace AoS with the internet and there you go. It's almost becoming a trend tin the mainstream. I try to stay open-minded and a nonconformist most of the time but I still have an individual personality of course...

    idk where I'm going with this.

    Anyways yeah the board is kind of divided into weeabos and metalheads. I'm happily part of the latter.

    The reason anime fans have gotten such a bad reputation is because, the amount of sane, non-12-year-old-girl's does not outweigh the number of insane 12 year old girls that go around dressed as Naruto screaming "KWEEIII DESSSS XDXD !! ~ ~". So now, everybody has to go about hiding their power level, lest they be attacked for being a 'weaboo'.

    ^Pretty much. Not all of us are like the people in the anime club. That's just what you get when you introduce nerds with aspergers' to anime.

    You know what I noticed about AoS?
    There are fucking weeaboos everywhere.

    @machete
    The weeaboos here hardly 'hide their power level' do they? Anyone who adds kun, san, chan etc to their name as a suffix is clearly a tremendous weeaboo and a faggot to boot

    I like metal, but my avatar isn't a picture of god damn Ozzy, which is basically the equivalent of what the weeaboos do.

    Well, I don't like metal, but I don't call you a retard for liking that music, do I?

    Why call someone something for what they like to do when they still act like completely normal people.

    So fucking what if I choose to add an honorific to my name. Is it hurting you that much?

    @Brojangles

    That's like saying; you have a picture of Kermit the Frog as your avatar, this must mean you are a shit crazy fangirl faggot, and because I do not like Kermit the Frog I am sickened to the bone by it, so much so I must attack people on the internet.

    Hey Kaede/Noire you people might want to watch this movie.

    It's not anime but it has a very distinct Japanese style.

    Oh lord I know a few of those...

    And not all anime fans are nuts. My gf listens to metal and reads anime. You wouldn't be able to tell by looking at her. Then again you would assume most black people aren't a part of either of those cultures.

    Which brings up a point I ponder a lot -usually regarding the underground metal culture but I can see also applies to Asian cultures observed in America. Where are all the black people?

    @sasquatch
    CORRECTION: "and reads anime">"and reads manga"
    there's a difference

    Your Dictionary.com:
    Manga
    a Japanese genre consisting of comic books and graphic novels, typically black-and-white and featuring stylized characters with large, round eyes

    Dictionary.com:
    Anime
    a Japanese style of motion-picture animation, characterized by highly stylized, colorful art, futuristic settings, violence, and sexuality.

    I can't tell you how many times I've been corrected on that, and how many times I forget.

    It's like trying to tell someone Slayer isn't death metal >_<

    Slayer? Death Metal? Please.

    I will admit to liking softer stuff (a LOT softer... I like Coldplay and have no idea why, the softest stuff I usually listen to aside from them is alternative metal), but at least I know what genre my music belongs in.

    Speaking of alternative metal, has anyone ever heard of Red? They're pretty soft, admittedly, but they've got some deep lyrics and very nice layering.
