You're joking right? I deal with temperatures in the triple digits every single day here. |

I never realized how hot it was on my side until someone mentioned that we were 100º+. I am a salamander. |

I'm so used to the heat in the summer, I'm actually bothered by air-conditioning turned down below 80º (about 27ºC). |

Why would you go to a laundromat? |
#45934 Spengbab Moron Posted 14 years ago |
|
To escape the heat. I get kicked out of my house during the day, and there's no god damn way I'm sitting outside all day. I probably should work on my tan and swim more often though. It's good excercise and I could lose like 20lb to look even better, I think. |

Swimming is probably a better alternative to hanging out in a laundromat, of all places. |
#45936 Spengbab Moron Posted 14 years ago |
|
It's always empty, its the laundromat that belongs to my mobile home complex. So I'm usually alone there. Sometimes I unlock the door for people who need to get in, since it's also the way to the pool. It's nice, starting to get to know the people who live here, they're really nice to me. People sometimes think I work there since I'm there so much. ;_; I wish I worked there. |

Is finding a job really that hard over there? I have a cousin who works at a Best Buy somewhere in LV. |
#45940 Spengbab Moron Posted 14 years ago |
|
Yes, I just applied for a security guard job today and am going down to the place tomorrow morning to beg them for a job. (My cousin works there, hopefully he can get me in, since he said they're hiring) |

Whaaaat. They assign guards with those? Shit, over here they give em golf carts, whistles and flashlights. And orange vests. |
#45942 Spengbab Moron Posted 14 years ago |
|
Some guards can carry weapons, yes. Since I don't technically have a license to carry a firearm, or a guard license, I'd be lucky to be hired as a mall cop. |

A license... To be a guard. Is the test physical? Like an obstacle course? It's starting to bother me that 60 year old dudes actually have the finesse required to chase down shoplifting kids. And night. |

How does this make you feel? |

@Kaede: It's just about as hot here during the summer as yours. Unfortunately, I don't have the liberty of going out much since I'm stuck inside the house. (No $$$ to go around doing stuff. XD) Also, the security guards I see around here are mostly armed with .38 S&W revolvers and the occasional .45, the ones I see guarding banks hold 12 Gauges. I know how to disassemble (and fired one) one of these babies because I was in the ROTC: http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/41ssh6SySQL._SS500_.jpg |

I don't have money either, I'm just forced to be outside all day :3 I went and sold some old GBA games I never play anymore, and Phantom Hourglass, and bought Rune Factory 3. It's pretty fun so far. Anyway, I can't believe officers would still use revolvers. It's almost like it's still 1970! Also, anyone can fire a weapon, but are you a good marksman? That's what really matters. |
#46477 Kaede-chan (かえでーちゃん) Imageboard Moderator Posted 14 years ago |

@Kaede: That was only once, firing prone at a target 25 meters(?) away. 4 out of 10 shots taken scored and that was my first time shooting a real gun. (I admit the shots were nowhere near grouped.) |

@machete Could This answer your problem? |

"anyone can fire a weapon, but are you a good marksman?" i know this is off topic but aHAhaHAHAHHAHAHAhAHAhAHAHa this is almost funnier than "make every bullet count" also, are you rtmdl's cousin or something, you answer all of his questions for him. i am just wondering, because if you're his cousin, that would be pretty cool, especially if you happened to meet eachother on some forum i am wondering what the general public's view in japan is about the death of osama bin laden |
#46618 Priok Spectonaut Posted 14 years ago |

No, I'm just a weeaboo that knows too much about Japan. |
