I don't even really like fishing but i've caught lots of Black Drum and Red Fish, i think they call it.

I don't own a boat, usually just a pier or a jetty does well.
I've seen a sword fish caught off one of the island's piers.
I am told its good fishing around here - but the Flooding of the Mississippi and the oil spill have scared off most of the larger catch.

I only eat the Deep Gulf fish though, lovely catches out there.

That sucks, exile. I love to fish, but rarely get the opportunity anymore living in a desert. I'd have to go to lake mead to fish, and all that's there is striped bass, catfish, and carp. At least to my knowledge anyway. Stripers are alright for eating, but they don't get very big.

It's also were I had my run in with a hostile snake. Actually 2, but the first snake was a large rattlesnake that nobody noticed/bothered and It just went into the rocks. My friend said he saw sasquatch up here.

Hawaii.

Everyone does drugs and every town outside of Honolulu, the giant tourist trap, is a slum. It's got cool beaches and mountains, but everything else is overrated.

A lot of people move here from Hawaii when they can. Is it truly so bad, the air quality i mean? From the crop burns and the whole, volcanic activity.

I live in a suburb, on Oahu, so the air isn't bad. I suspect it would be worse if you went to the big island, with the volcanoes, or even to Honolulu with all the development.

One other thing that isn't so desirable here is that there's actually pretty widespread racism toward whites. Understandable, with all that happened in the 1800s and with captain Cook, but a good amount of native Hawaiians have at least general disrespect for us.
