  • Alt+Tabbing Out of Game Whithout Taking Damage
  •

I have a habit of minimizing games a lot to check things online. Whenever I do this while playing AoS I either return with 28 health or Die/Re-spawn. Is there a way to minimize the game without dying?

Not that I know of, I just usually minimize, and try to keep it minimized for a good 10 minutes which should be enough for me to do what it is I want to do.

Alt-tabbing never usually hurts me, though it has caused that strange bug where none of the gui etc updates..
Damage caused when you return may be caused by people having shot you ;)

However, to try and avoid this gui bug I hid away from other players, so that my player can't 'see' anyone - and it seemed to work. Just dig a hole for yourself or burrow into the side of somewhere and then alt-tab.. works for me.

It's always puzzled me to hear people talk about this- it has never happened to me, and I do it all the time to change music. Im on Win 7 using firefox 3.6 if that makes any difference.

It's never happened to me until just the other night while on a laptop. I never get it when I play on my computer. Both computers are running Windows 7, but I can't recall which edition it was on the laptop.

It happens to me every time. If I am more than half across the map, I finish my objective or get shot first. Then, Ill minimizes. Nothing worse than having the intel, minimizing, and returning to the game and dying from the glitch

    All I'm saying is, it's possible ;)
Though I don't think I've received random damage ever before like that.. only bugs I've had is that non-deletion of previous frames thing..
But as said, hiding seems to work for me!

That graphical glitch that preserves the previous frames and can make you crash is caused by your character being covered by blocks. This game doesn't prevent you from placing blocks in the same place a person is, I use the glitch to disconnect/piss off griefers and dickheads

Also, the taking damage from alt+tabbing might be a measure against AFKing. Or just a crazy bug.
