I love canoeing! I think I love everything to do with water except things that make me actually swim in it. |

I love watersports of any kind. Except jet skis. Jet skis are loathsome, noisy specimens of floating pestilence and should have a hunting season, like deer and quail. Other than that, though, I quite like boating, swimming, and the lot. So yes, I can swim, and quite well too, if I may say so myself. Swimming underwater is the best... there's a lot of cool stuff below the surface. |

I wanna learn how to dive! But I'm actually kind of terrified of deep water. Not sure why, seeing as I'm an excellent swimmer. It's just the thought of all that water under me. Freaks me out. |

Yes, and I used to love it too, but I stopped a few years go out of a completely irrational fear of dirty water .-. |

@leet except for the stuff about water-skiing, AMEN, i love swimming underwater, when i swam the mile swim, i swam 95% of it underwater XD, i would swim always underwater if i could, bu im only human, i need air atleast 1 time a minute :3 |

@Kaede: like Scuba diving? Yeah, me too. For now I have to stick with how far I can go on what's in my lungs though... at some point I could swim the length of an Olympic swimming pool without surfacing, but I don't know if I can still do that or not. |

I feel better knowing I'm not the only one that doesn't know how to swim :) |

@alexthecreeper: Yeah, I prefer swimming underwater to overwater. I usually choose to swim that way even when I need to travel in a straight line... a few strokes underwater, surface and breathe, repeat as neccesary. It's so much more fun. |

Yeah of course scuba diving. I know how to DIVE into water, that's easy lol. Also I love sharks. I love touching them. Actually I like touching everything, especially things that feel nice. Sharks are really sandpapery. |

Sharks are pretty cool. A lot of 'scary' animals are pretty cool if you know which species aren't so dangerous and how to handle them properly. Snakes are cool too... there are a lot of species that couldn't kill a human if they tried, and some of them do pretty well in captivity. Snake scales are also unbelievably smooth. (To those of you who decided to see double entendre about the word "snake" where there was none intended, stop giggling like small children). |

We went from swimming to scary creatures somehow... Ah, what the heck. It's an off-topic thread. We're just being off-topic^2. Spiders and scorpions are also awesome. Don't get either as a pet if you have small children in the house, though. |

Turtles are alright, but they don't qualify as creepy enough to be truly awesome in my book. I'd love to be able to take an alligator or crocodile on walks just to make people flip out, but alas neither is really the type for walks. Maybe I'll just put a shark tank in the front bedroom to alarm passers-by. As a bonus, it can double as a troll-disposal unit. |

I like snakes and turtles. I found a snake in the park once when I was living in california so I picked it up and carried it a couple blocks to PetsMart and made sure she got a home :) |

Being an Aussie, I can swim. If you can't outswim a Bull Shark by the time you're 5 years old in this country, you haven't got a hope |

1337101: it was brown... and had stripes. That's all I remember. Also it wasn't rough like a rattlesnake, it was smooth. I've been in close contact with a de-fanged rattlesnake. They're mean. |
