Yes, danhezee and I were already discussing that, and we'll have a tripcode feature as well. So no registration, which will be nice for more casual users.

An imageboard is like a forum where you post images and discuss them.

So it's just like this, except you can post images which are immediately viewable and not in link form.
Perfect for the modding community.

I think dan was saying something about making the kv6 files immediately viewable as images (as there will be a section on there for uploading kv6 files), but I have no idea how much technical wizardry that would take.

So far for the boards we have:

/b/: Randumb, dubs, etc (try and keep the porn to a minimum here, please)
/c/: Clans and clan-related stuff here. Not entirely sure how useful this would be, so it'll most likely be a test to see how much use the board gets. Will probably be scrapped entirely once the Clan board StackOverflow is working on is completed.
/d/: Doodles, artwork
/kv6/: The modding board, all screenshots posted here will relate to mods.
/aos/: Screenshots/discussion, etc for this game
/j/: Japan time. Anime, pokémon, everything grorious-Nippon related here.
/v/: Vidya Gaems. Gotta have a vidya board on the site.
/g/: For discussing technology, system specs, whatever.
/co/: For those that love cartoons, but aren't weeaboo enough to enjoy grorious Nippon animation.

By the way Lexsym, if you need extra mods I'm willing to help if you're willing to trust me (I by no means blame you if you don't, but the offer's been made). I know a decent amount of HTML, and I certainly know how to monitor webpages.

Never heard of 420chan (sorry) but I get what you're talking about. That'd probably be a better idea, and those people who double-post acting like two different people would just make themselves look like an idiot.

With no registration, that would require a cookie, a record of the IP, or a download. The cookie and the IP are unreliable methods, and the download seems less trustworthy to a lot of internet users compared to a registration feature.

I think there should be a registration method for people who will use the imageboards frequently and want to make sure nobody steals their name.

Repeat offenders I could report to the moderators on this forum to see if they can associate the IP they used with an IP on this board, so punishments wouldn't be so easy to avoid.

I'd keep it fair and unbiased on the imageboard, as long as you aren't posting anything on the site which violates that board's rules, you're fine, even if you're somebody I don't particularly like on here. Follow the rules and you've got nothing to worry about from me. Constantly post off-topic shit on other boards, having "dub threads" anywhere outside /b/, post obscene amounts of porn/kool shock images, and I'll ban you.
