However, who's to say you need to power the imageboard by someone else's work? I imagine it'd be a lot to do but in the end you'll have a unique site at the least.

it looks like with wakaba all you do is modify the config.pl

How does the moderating system work? I assume you give us a tripcode that logs us in with moderator powers.
