I had an idea while playing the otehr day. 1) the rifle - bring old accuracy back, or at least improve, perhaps add sum sort of zoom function? make it a long distance sniper wep. 2) smg - tighten up the recoil and accuracy, so it becomes the main assault weapon 3) to replace the close quarters idea of the smg, introduce a combat shot gun, that has alot of spread (less accuracy) very high damage, but very small range (like the current smg) Doing this produces three clear classes or weapons and play styles, the long distance sniper rifle, perfect for camping/covering, the assault rifle (new smg) which because of greater accuracy and recoil becomes the main assault weapon, for storming the enemy base etc And then the combat shotgun, perfect for defending intel, of storming that enemy bunker/trench. fantastic in confined spaces. This would also add alot more dimension to the game, with the shotgun for insance youd have to think careful about crossing open gorund. with the rifle, you dotn want to get caught in a tight closed off area. etc etc etc. What do you guys think? |
