No programming experience is necessary to make mods for Ace of Spades. Simply download Slab6 to start editing the KV6 files. If you need help there's plenty of tutorials around. And yes, the game is written in C.

@StackOverFlow I would imagine that he meant like programming new game modes for Ace of Spades as a mod, not editing gun model. Unless you can make something else with those kv6 files too, haven't really looked into it :P
