  • How to host over a LAN network.

    Step 1: Start>Run>cmd>type ipconfig in cmd
    Step 2: find you IPv4 address. looks like: 192.168.1.x.xxx or something like that
    Step 3: Go to dis page ova here
    Step 4: In the IP Address box type your IPv4 backwards: Ex Mine is 192.168.1.2.
    Type it backwards like this 2.1.168.192.
    Step 5: click on the decimal option and hit Go.
    Step 6: Copy the numbers under "IP decimal"
    Step 7: Download the AoSNoMaster.exe (No credit to meh)
    Step 8: Put the .exe into your AoS directory
    Step 9: Run it. It should say patching done, if not you mightve not put it in the aos directory.
    Step 10: Run the server.exe
    Step 11: Then in cmd type: cd [AoS Directory Path]
    Step 12: then type client.exe xaos://[The IP decimal you copied from step 6]
    Step 13: Hit enter and play!

    NOTE!: Only people connected to your network can join the server

    Btw, you should've also added how to add the commands to a .bat, it would make things easier for the noobs.

    What do you mean how to add the commands to .bat? I think you mean CMD but alright

    HOW 2 GET 2 CMD:

    Start>Run>CMD
    or
    Windows Button+R>CMD

    EDIT:
    i just noticed step 1 tells you how to get to cmd xd
