Im thinking about starting to mod AoS, I just want to start out with ironsight png mods, can someone tell me a good png editor, that is easy to use?

is reskinning really modding?

Yes, re-skinning is modding, since your modifying your game for it to use different skins.

I guess my corrupt core grenade re-skin counts as a mod.

Look into basic tutorials on using GIMP. I use GIMP for my ironsight mod(s), and since there is no specific GIMP tutorial for this game, it's the best someone in your position can get.

Basically, do this;

Open semi.png or smg.png
Change, noting where the red aimpoint is on the default scope - this is your zero mark.
Save as semi.png or smg.png
Load AoS.

Usually I keep GIMP open while I play one or two games, so I can go back and edit it, keeping all the layer info.

You'd think after 15 years Microsoft would update paint to include transparent pixels. Get an intern to do it or something, honestly.

Just about every amateur photo-editor swears by this stuff. Use GIMP, it's free and it works.
