I think if Ben wants new developers, he will tell it himself :) I'm not saying that everybody is doing wrong, it's great that people want to volunteer, and I want to help too. But as of now, there has been no word from Ben that he would want new moderators or developers. Jackster seems cool guy tho, maybe slightly bad decision to argue with someone who could decide about his position, but hey. I wouldn't mind Jackster bein a mod.

Learn PHP and CSS. They are the two main things.

Jackster, I know Python, PHP, CSS, some javascrtip, some Java and some C++. Out of these I "master" HTML, CSS, PHP and I can do some stuff with Python, I haven't used it alot lately tho. I was being sarcastic :)

I'd like to null my post saying I think you'd be great, because apparently, I was dead wrong. You've almost reached the point of harassing me about one issue, and you, as a moderator, should be able to let go of something, and find a more appropriate way of dealing with an issue. And I've seen several users saying, some exactly this, a troll. I wouldn't be surprised, in fact, it seems fitting of you, but again, not something a moderator should be. Perhaps you could mature in the future, and become someone a person can respect, and not dislike.

Jackster, from my perception, it seems you wouldn't let it go. I simply added that bit into the post, as it's relevant to what I was writing, and gives good reason as to why I don't want you added. And what do you mean, crap? I was providing feedback is as to why I kept providing that link to users. And, again, it really wasn't even your place to be telling me; you could have simply said I was flooding, and when I responded with a comment as to why that was wrong, you could have let it go, as a good moderator should.

I have not seen much of you on the forum probably due to location. But you keep saying you deserve to be a moderator. You have to earn such a role by helping others.

To be honest moderator status is for new people to know who to trust. Helping others get you seen as a moderator by the regular players.

That is my theory of as to how moderator status is achieved. So don't get all worked up about just getting a title.

Jackster, just one small advice: Stop feeding the trolls. If you still don't have mod/admin-rights just ignore them. Makes no sense to try to discuss everything. It just makes this forum more difficult to read if every second post is from you. Posts like "If you have something useful to say please say it. Otherwise shut up" won't help at all.

In short: Use your admin-rights. If you have none, ignore the trolls and help other users who have some problems. But stop feeding the trolls by starting discussions and trying to tell everyone what you have achieved with your famous game-server company and that you're gonna be mod in future. Telling that you have some inside information from Ben ("I am not releasing any information yet.) won't help in any way either.

I think the best way to deal with trolls is to reason with them, even if I have to send them a "flame" or two they'll get the message eventually.
