    So, dont think ive seen this anywhere, but oh well, here i go.

    So, i think it would be a lot of fun if each team was allowed say 2 to 4 artillery pieces. But, instead of just setting them up at the start of the game, there would be some requirements. First of all, your team would have to build the artillery to specific specifications. Secondly, in order to get each new artillery to work, your team would need two points for each artillery. Also, at all times, at least 1 person would need to stay with the artillery to operate it. Finally, there would be a minimum range on the artillery, so that one team couldn't just sight their artillery on their own intel, and keep firing.

    So, what do you guys think?

    I think itd be pretty cool if we had to build a structure that had operated like you explain, be able to use arty on the defense, like to shell a bunker on a hill (if your green) or destroy a tunnel opening (if your blue) but there would probably be a lot of coding for this.

    you would like to add more tents or at lest move able one s
    i think is a grate idea
    however
    there would need to be a limit on how close u can place it to the enemy base
    to prevent 'camping'

    Hrm. What if there was an established base in the middle of the map that had artillery set up. It would also have a tent for resupplying. Whomever can hold the area gets access to both. It could serve as a nice halfway point for the map.

    If it was in the middle of the map it would be to random as to its location, It could spawn at the bottom of a valley or the top of a mountain. If its stuck and cant shoot because its to low its worthless, if its to high and can command the entire map then it is game breaking.

    There should definitely be limitations as to where it can be built, like it cant cross a certain longitude set for each team. But then again there we have limitations as there are so many mountains overlooking the river in the game, the green team would simply die when ever the blues got a cannon.

    To avoid the artillery getting spammed, it could have something of an ammo system. Each time your team caps the intel, you get one artillery attack. That would give both teams a nice motivation for pushing the offensive while still keeping a healthy defense.

    I think artillery should be an automatic, like a tent. But to use it, you need to sacrifice enemy intel, instead of bringing it to the tent and getting the point. It would force users to make a big decision; firepower or points.
