I like the maps that emulate real world environments, like Broville (although that is a terrible name). Normandie is also cool, I like the church and the corn fields. I hope that more mapmakers continue to go in this direction. It would be cool to see a suburbia map, with rows of one- and two-story houses, convenience stores, movie theaters, libraries, etc. I think it is cool to walk into a pixelated room and say, "oh, this is the kitchen," as I have done on some of the build-only servers. I'm not saying it isn't fun to blow up that kitchen, either, so don't tell me to go back to Minecraft, because I've never played it. Anyways I prefer these maps over the "hypothetical situation" maps, where there's a narrowing path leading to one side, high walls surrounding a long path...oh yeah and bridge maps are the worst--how can a griefer resist? I know that some people like these environments, so no dis. Is there any way to combine the two styles? |

Harbor and Mesa are maps that come to mind |

harbor blew my mind when I first played it. Mesa is cool to, love the cacti. true, these are good examples of situations with realistic environments. there was a desert one kicking around for a while that seemed cool, though by the time I joined it was always griefed to shreds. |

Broville is an adaptation/conversion of a Minecraft map by the same name. |
