Morthor and I have spent some time making a online Map Directory

http://aos.minit.nu/maps/

It's still in progress...
But for now you have to mail your maps to me! ([email protected])

Mail a zip or rar file containing
* The map (.vxl)
* Image over the map (in game press M)
* Other images (optional)
* Text file with some info (who created the map etc...)

Coming soon
* In time there will be a map-uploader so you could upload your map
* A map browser
* Ratings (?)

When you add the rating system (hopeful!), I'd consider allowing rating across different areas to tell us more about how the map plays.

Perhaps something to identify maps which are better for snipers, builders, etc? Not sure of the exact categories, but something to consider.

Hmm, danhezee was working on making a map repository, I guess Enari beat him.

Oh well. Hey bcoolface, mind adding the imageboard to that, or no? It doesn't get enough traffic so nobody uses it yet, but it'd be a great place to post and instantly view scopes and things of that nature.

I guess I can't blame you if you don't want to add it to that list, so no hard feelings.

@ Enari: I know it'd be alot of work, but what if your map directory had thumbnails showing a single pic of each map, like right on the main page?

This is awesome, Enari's map repository who's original code (he's just hosting) was made by me has recognition in the official AoS site, but my server browser site has no recognition at all.

Dunno what bcoolface has against my site, I've tried reaching him on some occasions with no result.

Ok, Im newb, I placed the file in "vxl", then in the console i typed: bridgewars.vxl
Then the message "Type max players (blah blah)" spammed the console, I cant type anything. So i need help. K thx. :)
