From playing this game last week I really loved it, kudos to the dev(s) for making a great game with really nice potential. Here, I'm just going to make a plain suggestion, tell me what you think of it. Would love the feedback. In the game I really find it frustrating not to be able to see where my enemy is after he kills me. Especially during spawnkills when I have very little time to seek the killer and give him a nice little headshot. It really doesn't have to be fancy and since I really like the "Falling down in death" motion (Which I adore) I would like to see the location of the killer after 3 or so seconds so at least I have a good idea of where he is. Also another element I really liked about other games would be the respawn time. It would be really nice to control that like clicking the left mouse button to respawn instead of waiting in humiliation. :P Please tell me if those suggestions are too much, if it would change the feel of the game even though it is a small element and it would just take a few elements of coding for the anchors on the killing player and the camera control. Killcam would actually be a very significant change. Part of what makes this game is that you -don't- know where you just got sniped from. Respawn timer is a good idea, though I would prefer some better spawn point algorithm - having that guy you just killed spawn NEXT TO YOU is really damn annoying. If he spawns 2 seconds later, well, he'll probably still pop up right behind you. |

A respawn timer isn't so bad, have time to run b4 he pops behind you. I am a little hesitant about the kill cam though, it sorta ruins the sniping business. But then again, it doesn't hurt to know the location of the person you got shot by. |

Are you kidding me, I hate games where they show where I am when I kill someone. It's frustrating if you want to be hidden... |

Good point, I think that for the spawn point it should be more precise so that the team actually has to protect the area with a fortress of something. Another idea I had were command points like in some of the old battlefront games. Because it actually had a pretty strategic push to it. After all this it depends on what the devs want the game to be since we can't just change the game into a hardcore FPS. I think the building aspect of it is what makes it so rich. Anyways, something to think about. |

I do NOT want to see killcam. maybe let you scroll the camera around a little bit while your dead on the ground, but thats about it. |

The death cam is perfectly fine as it is now. The spawn point algorithm should really just be as simple as spawning near your tent. |

I agree with Lexsym, even now I kinda change my mind about this killcam thingy. Moving around while you're dead on the ground would be alright and pretty in touch with the game. |

A killcam would severely disadvantage the blue team; the greens would be able to pinpoint their sniper nests. Blues would virtually have to move to a different nest every kill to insure their safety, which would ruin the fun of playing blue. Plus, part of the game's intense atmosphere is not knowing exactly where the person who killed you is. |

I'll post what I posted before. "Spawn protection would be horrific. It's hard enough to capture intel from fortified buildings as it is. I would like a spawn system where you could pick a spot on the map, as long as it's on your team's side. You could also get two markings on it; one to show where you died, the other to show a small area where the person shot and killed you from (not an exact spot, however, say a large encircled area)." The second part is what applies to this. You shouldn't have a direct marking or bearings on where you were shot from exactly, but a somewhat large encircled area around where the fatal shot was fired should be good enough for everyone. |

I would just like a better spawn system, or failing that headshots do body damage for x amount of seconds after i respawn while im trying to work out where the heck i was plonked where x is a small number, at most being 3 |

I'd say no and no. A killcam would make any over-land intel grabbing impossible. Attackers depend on surprise to be able to find and get the intel while surrounded by enemies. A lack of a kill cam is the only thing that makes it possible. And seriously- what's wrong with the respawn time? sure it's a bit frustrating when you spawn in a spot you don't want to be, but you only have to wait for about 3 seconds! That's nothing! |

What about a compromise? When you are killed, an arrow will appear (from a third person viewpoint) pointing in the general direction which the kill shot came from. I think 45 degree intervals between each arrow would be most effective |

It'd still render above ground intel grabbing impossible. Being able to rotate camera when you hit the ground might be the best way, but even that could unbalance it. |

Yes, there is that risk, but you can get to where you want faster (I am thinking of choosing WHERE you want to parachute, like on 1/3 side of the map. sorry didn't add it in the post above) |
