BESIDES GIVING AOS AN AUTISTIC STREAK AND MINECRAFT CLONE STATUS

2. Their system specs can't handle minecraft

Minecraft, however not.

Some people like to build I guess, there's nothing wrong unless they're making a house in the middle of nowhere. If your going to build, make sure your helping your team.

If your rig can't run Minecraft than I suggest you stop using that rig your grandfather looted from Herr Deustchlandkrumpetfreud and get a decent one.

im sure most of the community agrees with you, however, a few points
1. there a many more colors in AoS than minecraft, and if one is making pixle art, one doesnt have to deal with the textures when building the pixel art, only the color
2. as said before, many people dont have the system specs to play minecraft comfortably, i happen to be one of those ppl.
2b. many cant get a new computer cause they are already having to deal with electricity, house, food, water, car, and other such bills, so they have no money to waste on a fancy new computer
3. it's their choice to make and play on build servers, as-long as they don't go around spamming, OMG JOIN THIS SERVER, ITS SO FRIGGIN AWESOME HERP DURP-ITIE-DERP, then its really not that much of a bother, if you don't wanna play on one, just don't join it

Uh...this is America. Getting rid of people's rights to build, albeit even making useless structures, would be the same as getting rid of the Freedom of Speech.

I repeat an earlier statement, and elaborate:

What people do with their own computers and their own internet connections is none of your business (provided it isn't blatantly illegal). If they start screwing up stuff for your computer and/or internet connection, that's a problem, but if they're hosting their own server with their own stuff using their own time and money, that's their choice. The only effect they have on the AoS player base as a whole is giving the serverlist one more server name to load (which will delay the loading, what, five hundreths of a second?).

So whether or not people should be using AoS as a creative tool isn't even relevant. They're not harming you in any way, shape, or form by using their own computers as they see fit.
