  • Team suggestions.

I think that you should not be able to switch teams once you are on one. Last night, people from the other team joined our team just to grief up our base.

Also auto-balancing needs to happen, because one team would get really stacked while the other one would have few players.

The only conflict with this is the people who want friends on their teams, so what if he made a clan system or something so people can all jump on the same team like my friends liked to.

Just some suggestions, no need for the flame.

Tell me what you think. Its nothing super game changing.

    "Let's play together!"
    "Okay!"
"We'll be on the same team too!"
    "Yeah!"

    -auto balance-

"What the hell, I'm on the opposite team..."
"Switch back to my team then."
    "The game won't let me."
    "Wow game is bad."

yes autobalance is a must, some high budget games dont even have this for some reason. i agree there can be issues but its to keep the game fair. maybe someday they will have a friend system and you could party together, then join a game as friends and autobalance then wouldnt be able to break you up

Lexysm, you could just escape the game, come back in and then switch teams. It will take 1 minute. From what I've seen, griefers tend to switch teams often and will have to go through the process of escaping and logging back in many times, which will slow down and discourage their griefing. You, on the other hand, only have to take that 1 minute time once to switch teams to your friend. It works out fine.

    He has a valid point.

Team switching would only be allowed ever 20 mins? Or what ever the server admins set it to be.

The server side is getting recoded and I think game variables will be set in a config file on the server.

All servers will have different settings.

No. Just have an autobalance system like TF2.

    Config file for server

    autobalance = true / false

Hotsauce clearly knows a good compromise. :) I agree with Hotsauce: you won't be able to switch teams unless you AoS friended another user and you could have the option to switch to your friend's team and have like 1 minute to change back in case you switched to your friend's team by accident and you want to verse your friend. This would help the game from griefers by a mile. :D

@Paroxysm I think everyone would just set the auto balance to true tbh.
